Rod was a warm, patient host with our two young children, and his stories and experience as a former thatcher gave the stay a personal feel. The farmhouse itself has plenty of character, with historic architecture and a cosy atmosphere. We had a ground floor family en-suite room, with a separate lounge, sofa and TV, plus tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. Breakfast was served in the kitchen/diner, with toast or cereals, or a delicious cooked option from Rod. There are public footpaths nearby with lovely scenery and wildlife, and the location works well for exploring the Jurassic Coast. A memorable family stay at Belhuish Farmhouse B&B, and we highly recommend it for a welcoming countryside getaway.

Rod made our family feel very welcome, and cooked a great English breakfast with good coffee. The room had enough space for two adults and two young children, and was well cleaned, with lovely fresh-smelling sheets and a cosy bed. This is a charming rural B&B, good value and handy for local walks and wildlife. Wool's amenities are only a short drive away, and it’s a good base for Lulworth Cove and the rest of the Jurassic Coast. A pleasure to meet you, Rod!

Rod was such a charming, welcoming owner, and his breakfast is the meanest. I wish we’d had time to spend the day chatting with him, but we’d had a busy weekend. The house is lovely and has everything you need from a B&B. It’s peaceful too, with a walk to the coast through picturesque fields. Honestly, this is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks for a lovely weekend, Rod. We’ll be back!

We stayed between Christmas and New Year and had a really enjoyable time. The farmhouse sits in a very pretty, idyllic valley, even lovelier than the website photos suggest. The owner was away, but Tracey looked after us so well, making delicious breakfasts and helping us figure out which vet to visit when our dog hurt her paw. Our family room was spacious and comfortable. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here while attending a wedding at Lulworth Castle. It’s a lovely little B&B near Wool, with a great host in Rod and amazing breakfast. All the food was locally sourced, right down to the chickens in the garden. Rod also had plenty of good tips for local walks.
