Premier Inn Wellingborough

We stayed for five nights from January 20 and have been to this hotel a few times before. It’s handy for nearby shops and amenities. I’ve had some health issues recently and needed help with a few things during this stay. Emma, whom I was meeting for the first time, helped me each day. She was patient and kind, and made me feel at ease about asking for support. Thank you, Emma. We’re also grateful to Victoria, who has helped us with our bookings before and has always been supportive when we’ve needed a bit more help. Best wishes to you both.

Demi made breakfast especially nice, with such a warm, generous manner and really attentive service. All the staff were amazing during our birthday weekend at Premier Inn. The comfy bed and big bathtub were a result too!

The room was a bit tired and the hotel feels more dated than other Premier Inns we’ve stayed at, though it was still comfortable. The staff were so polite, friendly and helpful that they made up for the plain room and made the stay welcoming. Breakfast is unlimited, but you order through a waitress and menu instead of helping yourself at a buffet. You can order again as often as you like, and our waitress was lovely and helpful. There’s no queue and the service is calm and efficient, though I found the setup more intimidating and missed the chance to interact with other guests while waiting in line. It just doesn’t feel the same as breakfast at the other places we’ve stayed. Not the best version of a Premier, but the staff did their best to make it welcoming.

We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, which is in a separate building about 20 yards across the carpark. The food was freshly prepared and tasty, and every member of staff I met was charming, attentive and efficient, though I didn’t catch anyone’s name. I’d called ahead to request a quiet room on the first floor, and they arranged it without a problem. There was plenty of free parking on site. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, kettle, TV and a decent bathroom with a shower over the bath. We stayed one night at the Wellingborough Premier Inn on December 18 and had pre-booked the meal deal. For the price, I don’t think I could have had a better experience. Thank you.
