The bar is dog friendly, which makes it a perfect stop after a long walk around Seamill, and the food was delicious on both our August visit and our return over Christmas. The cocktails are great too, and the team will happily come up with something creative if you ask. They’re flexible and polite. The hotel has a stylish, beautifully decorated boutique feel, and the location makes you want to come back. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive and happy to go the extra mile. Seamill House Hotel consistently delivers, and it’s become one of our favourites. Both visits were well worth it. Highly recommend for good food, warm hospitality and a lovely atmosphere. Hope to visit again next time we’re in WK/Seamill. 🎄🎁🍹

The food at dinner was absolutely delicious, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. We had a large, beautifully decorated room with a stunning sea view, and the bathroom had a roll top bath. We stayed overnight with my husband and couldn’t fault the place. Would I return? Definitely. I’ll be back when the weather gets a bit warmer.

Stayed here from 1st to 2nd Feb. The bar and dining room were lovely, and the food was amazing. Our big room was warm, comfortable and nicely decorated. All the staff were pleasant and nice. Beautiful hotel, and I’ll stay again.

I arrived for a work trip on Rememberence day, and after a chat the staff learned I was a Military Veteran. They upgraded me for free to a balcony suite, gave me a bottle of wine and a personalised card saying "Thank-you for your service". I was blown away and actually welled up reading it. I’ve only experienced that sort of thing before in the USA, but the heartfelt respect and hospitality in Scotland gave me goosebumps. I can’t thank Andrea and the staff enough for being so generous. Veterans were also getting half price meals all day. I had the Nepalese lamb, which was wonderful, a maze of flavours that’s still swirling around my mouth. The Nepalese chef even came over to chat about it. Awesome! The hotel is lovely, and the staff are absolutely amazing. The owners can be proud of the service they provide, the hotel is clearly in safe hands. Warm and friendly, with decor that’s spot on, unlike some other hotels I’ve stayed in. My room was 5 star. The balcony view over the Isle of Arran while I relaxed with a glass of wine was simply amazing. I highly recommend staying here. Note to self: book a couple of nights for me and the wife, she’ll love it. Can’t wait for breakfast! 😁

My friend and I went for breakfast around 9.45am, not knowing that non guests couldn’t have breakfast until 10am. The service was poor. We were left waiting, and whenever we asked for something it felt like a hassle. Breakfast was okay, but not worth the price.
