Sitting by the restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows and looking out over the garden was a real highlight. The shared spaces are full of character, stylish and thoughtfully done. Our room was spacious, lovely to look at, and quiet at night, with everything we needed and lots of thoughtful details. The hostess made us feel very welcome, and her homemade breakfast was delicious. There’s a bus stop just downstairs with direct routes to the city centre and Durdle Door, which made getting around easy. We loved our stay.

We only stayed one night and wished we’d booked longer. The hosts have clearly thought about what makes guests comfortable, and our host was cheerful, welcoming and flexible. The room felt restful, the bed was excellent, and the bathroom was so nice I wanted to take it home. The house and garden are both beautifully decorated. It felt more like a high class boutique hotel, and was excellent value for money.

The family made us feel so welcome, and their two little dogs were lovely too. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from, including fruit bowls, Greek yoghurt, cereals, drinks and a great full breakfast. We also enjoyed having a guest lounge and books, DVDs and CDs we could borrow. Our room looked stunning, the bedroom temperature was comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were very spacious. Free WiFi was included. Thanks to the lovely family for such a wonderful stay. We’ll be back soon.

The location worked well for exploring the Jurassic Coast by car, and Weymouth beach was about a 30 minute walk away. We had a spacious room, a very comfortable bed and a modern en-suite, with a great view of the seaside. Breakfast was a must, especially the full English. The host was wonderful, and the two dogs were cute. The B&B was also very COVID aware and safe. We hope to come back soon.
