The Wilton Guest House

The location is spot on, with the beach visible from street level, and it’s close to the train station. Getting into the property was straightforward, and the room was really quiet. It was small, though, with little space for luggage, and the small shower room was functional but came with no hand soap or shower gel. I used it for one night during a four-night stay, and was glad it was only one. The price felt too high, but it was a last-minute booking and I needed somewhere. It did the job for a night, but I’d look elsewhere for a longer stay.

Had a lovely short stay with my daughter. The owner was lovely too. The place was clean, and there was a fridge, microwave and kettle, everything we needed. Many thanks from Sharon and Lauren, we’ll come back again.

Convenient location and a very reasonable price. It’s a simple hotel without frills, so good value for money.

The room had a fridge, microwave, and the usual tea and coffee setup. There was a TV too, though I didn’t use it. On the last day, while checking I hadn’t left anything behind, I spotted a plate and cutlery in one of the many drawers. The room was clean, warm and tidy, and the window opened, which is always a bonus. Plenty of local shops were open, so I didn’t need or want breakfast. It was a lovely New Year stay for a walking holiday. Wish every place I stayed was as nice as this.
