The hosts were great, and breakfast was fantastic. I also really enjoyed chatting with the other guests. The bed was very comfortable too. I've visited Whitby for many years and stayed in quite a few places, but this is definitely become my new favourite. Couldn't fault it.

My first time in Whitby, and I enjoyed my three-night stay as a solo traveller. Room only, very clean and fresh, and I got a warm welcome. I'd definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely time.

We had a lovely regatta weekend stay at kimberley house and agree with the good reviews. The hosts were wonderful, and it was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We booked the family room, not the family suite: it was large, with a double and a single bed, and a small but clean, functional en-suite. There were three chairs by the bay window but no little table, so we moved a small unit over to use there. There are a few routes into town. We took Flowergate past the shops and bars. The steep hill back is short, unlike the coastal path with its steep stone steps, though the sea view on that route is worth it. For the best price, book directly with the owner. Breakfasts are only available to direct bookers. No payment was needed upfront, and we paid when we arrived. We'd recommend this guest house and its lovely hosts.

We stayed three nights in the quiet, spacious attic family room. The place was clean, the cooked breakfast excellent, and the staff friendly. Rachel and Andrew are brilliant. Great location too. We'd like to come back.
