The Brasserie served us a nice meal, and the beds were super comfortable. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits by the river, with the castle just behind it, and we had a very enjoyable couple of days. Getting luggage from the car park takes a bit of a hike, and it’s not easy to unload outside the hotel. Drinks at the bar were steep even by Windsor standards, so I’d come back but have a drink elsewhere.

All the staff were lovely and very helpful, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of variety. We also had a lovely river view from the breakfast area. The hotel is centrally located, close to everything. Our room was comfortable, though the view from it wasn’t great, as expected for the room we booked. I’d definitely return.

The room was very nice, with quality fittings throughout, and the bathroom was exceptional, especially the shower. The staff were great and the location superb. I’ve stayed at hotels around the world, including The Four seasons and places of similar quality, and this didn’t quite reach that level. The car park is a short walk away, and the restaurant was a little disappointing for food, though the view is very nice.

The riverbank setting is lovely, with the castle in sight, and I’d stay again if I could get a good room price. The staff were helpful at every turn. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it wasn’t what I expected and was separate from the main hotel building. The buffet breakfast was okay, but the food was cold or only warm.

The room was ready when we arrived early, around 1230, and staff were on hand to help with our bags. Reception were friendly and helpful. Our room was one of the biggest we’ve had in a long time, with a king size bed, a two-seater sofa, a side table and two armchairs. Tea and coffee were complimentary and topped up each morning. We could ask reception for more between refills, or buy another large bottle of still water there if we needed one. We only ate breakfast at the hotel since Windsor has so many restaurants to choose from. The food was plentiful, hot and tasty, with a good mix of hot and cold dishes. The waiting staff try to seat guests with a river view, though that isn’t guaranteed. The hotel is right on the Thames, with amazing views and just a short walk to the town centre and castle. My only gripe is the lack of a lift, which the website doesn’t mention. Our room was up quite a few stairs, which wasn’t great for me. If I’d known, I’d have asked for a lower floor, but the hotel was full during our stay. Booking direct also gets you a free drink of your choice from the bar.
