We left the car in the car park and could easily walk everywhere, as it’s so close to everything. The old building is quaint and over 600 years old, but it was still warm, clean and comfortable. Everyone on the team was welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was top notch, especially the perfectly cooked fried eggs. In the evening, it was lovely to sit in the pub and play backgammon. The staff know the regulars, which gives the place a lovely atmosphere. A really nice little getaway.

Breakfast was very tasty, the staff were friendly, and the free car park was a nice bonus. The hotel is quirky and close to Windsor Castle, and our room suited our needs. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the stay was. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

Everything’s handy here, with the high street and castle very close by, plus lots of restaurants and convenience stores open late. Our room was bright and clean, and the bed was super comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend the place and stay again. Thank you. We stayed in Room Two on 14/09/25.

The garden area was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. It was great to have free internet access, and dogs are allowed too, which was a bonus. The pub food was awesome, with a great menu and a really good jacket potato.

The location is fantastic, less than a minute’s walk from the bridge and lovely Thames views. Our hosts were very nice and let us into our rooms early because they were ready. It was quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. The downsides were more serious: the bed was so uncomfortable that I was still hurting days later. The springs seemed shot and made loud noises whenever we moved. The hosts said it was a new hotel-grade bed, but if that’s true, they were sold a bad product. The food looked crispy and great but disappointed, the closet had broken hangers, and the shower temperature kept swinging between hot and cold. If you arrive before noon, you’ll wait outside until they open. And if you pack like an American, with enough for weeks away, getting through the gravel car park on arrival and departure is a struggle. When I contacted them about what I planned to say in my review, they reminded me check-in is 2:30pm for a reason, so I’d advise against arriving early.
