The three-course dinner was lovely, though I was a little disappointed by how small the starter was. Breakfast was tasty too, with good-quality ingredients and a buffet that was regularly topped up. We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the spotless room had everything we needed. We’d booked an anniversary treat and were surprised with a suite upgrade and two complimentary drinks, such a lovely personal touch. The staff were friendly, and the piano player in the restaurant added to the evening. Thanks for making our anniversary one to remember. We’ll definitely come back 😄

We left completely full and very satisfied. The sandwiches were generously filled and tasty, and there were freshly cooked scones with fig and plum jam, plus a selection of other cakes. At £30 per head, it was great value and the best afternoon tea we’ve ever had. A lovely festive afternoon.

The restaurant food was lovely at both breakfast and dinner, and I really enjoyed the pool and sauna. I was there for a work trip and found the hotel and spa lovely. The rooms were a good size, but the mattresses were sunken and flat, so the beds need upgrading. After the first shower, I reported that water had flooded the bathroom floor. At 1am there was a motorbike outside my window, which wasn’t ideal, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

We booked a two-night break deal and thought it was excellent value. The staff and service were exceptional, the food was good, and I enjoyed the spa facilities. I finished off with a massage. Great stay! 👍
