My office had booked me for the previous week by mistake, which I only discovered when I arrived. The staff were incredibly nice and patient about it, and got their last available room cleaned and ready for me. While I waited, I had some food, and the woman serving behind the bar was just as pleasant. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, with a great shower. The food was great too, and the staff first class. Nuno went out of his way to fit me in. I can't recommend the place highly enough and will certainly return.

I met my son for lunch at The Savvy Fox today and had a lovely time. We were warmly welcomed, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was exceptional. The Sea Bass with Risotto was top class, and I'd definitely recommend it. I'll come back and recommend the place to others.

We turned up at the Savvy Fox for Sunday dinner at 4pm without a reservation, and it wasn't a problem. The staff were really friendly and took care of everything. Three courses for £24.95 is a bargain, and the food was delicious with just the right portion sizes. The setting is lovely, well decorated and clean. Give it a try.

I dropped in on 19/02/2026 without planning to, and what a breath of fresh air it was. The bar was bright and airy, clean, and laid out nicely. The food tasted great, and the nibbles menu had a good variety and was very nice. The staff were superb, friendly and attentive, making the visit a pleasure. Well done all, I'll be back for more.

This was my third visit, and it's been the same great experience each time. It's a great hotel and restaurant, with helpful staff and good food from breakfast through to the evening meal. There's a nice breakfast selection and a fantastic evening menu. I especially recommend the fish and chips and the burger, but you have to try the delicious salt and pepper chips too. Great food, beer and staff.
