The owners are really friendly and helpful, and we'll definitely visit again soon. It's easy to get around North Yorks from here, especially with the bus stop right out front. A fantastic place to stay, with brilliant food and a huge choice of drinks.

The owners were very obliging, and let us keep our bikes in their lock up. There's power for recharging e mountain bikes overnight, so it's an ideal base for riders. We stayed two nights for mountain biking at Dalby Forest, and it was a huge step up from our usual camp beds in one big room. The new owners had only taken over the day before we arrived, but everything went smoothly. The rooms are generously sized. I couldn't get a photo of the outside that didn't make it look like a motel, which really doesn't do it justice.

The room was quiet and the bed comfortable, though it was queen size with two double duvets. Breakfast was lovely, but I'd been hoping for a continental option. And why don't people offer fried bread? I can't stand hash browns. I could've used a bit more butter for my toast. The damp on the bathroom ceiling gives off a strange smell. Met the chap, but not his Mrs.

Dinner and breakfast were both great, and there's a nice beer garden out back. The owners and their team gave us a warm, friendly welcome and looked after us well. The rooms are smart throughout and the beds are excellent. There are thoughtful details like earplugs in case road traffic bothers you. I'm a light sleeper, but our room, the closest one to the road, was fine. They clearly care about what they're doing here.

We had a fantastic stay at the Greyhound. The breakfasts were excellent and the service superb. Our beautiful room had a fabulous 4 poster bed, high quality bedding and towels, and a very nice seating area. Steve and Sharon, the owners, were wonderful, welcoming and caring. The Greyhound is a lovely inn with some fabulous features, and a real credit to the hard work Steve, Sharon and the team put into making it special.
