The Exhibition

A fantastic, cozy pub with accommodation, lovely staff, and a lively breakfast. We stayed two nights for my birthday, and the centre of York was literally just a few minutes away on foot. We'll definitely be back next year.

We had a double room with plenty of space for two, a large comfortable bed, and an en-suite shower room where you could turn around without bumping your elbows or knees. There was also a sink, toilet, TV, hairdryer, and hot drink facilities. The hotel is a lovely, warm place with a friendly welcome and an enjoyable atmosphere. The staff take pride in what they offer, and are happy to chat and laugh with guests. The building dates from the 1700s and is close to York city walls. Breakfast and evening meals are freshly made, and the bar is well stocked with cask ales, keg beers, lagers, spirits, and soft drinks. There's onsite parking too. Thanks to Exhibition Hotel.

A cozy pub that was always on our route, with good service at the bar. I didn't eat there, though others liked what they ordered.

The rooms were immaculate, and the staff were all friendly and happy to help with anything. Even though you're right in the middle of everything, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and we could barely hear the pub. York Minster is about a slow four-minute walk away. We'd definitely come back.
