The bath water gets really hot, just how I like it, and the rooms are always clean and very quiet. They're so nice here, and the lady is very polite. It's affordable, too, with an icebox, cable, free wifi, and a microwave. I always enjoy staying here.

We stayed here while visiting Palmetto State Park. The customer service was nice, breakfast was decent, and the place was CLEAN. There was an outdoor pool and even a parrot in the lobby. A great value, especially if you're spending almost all day at the State Park. 👍

The price makes this place okay when you're in a pinch, but a warmer way of talking with customers would help. If someone calls the front desk for more toilet paper, it would be nice to offer to bring it to them. Little gestures show people their business matters, and a bit of courtesy and effort could make this place more memorable. Most places do the bare minimum, so maybe encourage employees to stand apart with small, inexpensive surprises. If people only want basic necessities at the lowest Budget, they could choose Vermillion. That's really your competition. Make the little extra they pay feel worthwhile, in a way that doesn't cost much, and maybe more people will come back. Just a suggestion, no offense intended. I've stayed here before and thought it might be useful advice. ☺️

The bedding was filthy and stained, the rooms stank, and there were roaches. Disgusting place. There were probably only two customers for all 40 rooms, which may explain it. I'd sleep in my vehicle before wasting $60 on a room.
