Westbrook Motel

The hotel is cute and quaint, and it was in a great spot for my jobsite. The new owner is trying to make much-needed improvements, but there’s still a lot of work and updating to do. Room service was basically nonexistent. I had to ask the owner just to get fresh towels each day.

The price was affordable, the area felt safe, and the staff were friendly. But the room cleanliness was a problem: there were a few dead roaches on the floor, and the sheets had blood and other stains. The TV worked for only about 15 minutes before losing its connection for no apparent reason. I rented the room for my son and me, and I’d stay again if those issues were fixed.

The owners were really nice, and checking in and out was easy. For the low price, it was a decent place and pretty much what I expected. The room could’ve been cleaner, though. The sheets seemed questionable, and the bathtub was a little dirty around the edges. When we were leaving, the housekeeper was kind of rude and kept rushing us to go.

The atmosphere was really unpleasant, and the towels were dirty while the pillows were gross. When I turned on the hair dryer, it knocked out power to half the building. Never again. I can’t believe anyone gave this place decent reviews.
