Parking was the one real drawback. Several large trucks with trailers, including a semi, were parked across regular spaces. There were around six rigs taking up roughly 25-30 spots, even though they should have used the lot behind the hotel. The lot was full for other guests, and that could be especially inconvenient for an older guest or a family with kids. I found it pretty disrespectful of the drivers to use the parking area that way. The hotel itself was great, with a clean, very nice room and a comfortable bed.

I usually book this hotel when I come to Aberdeen, and my stays have normally been great. This time, bad road conditions meant I couldn't make my reservation, so I called to move it to another day. The person I spoke with kept explaining what he couldn't do, saying he could help if a manager were there, but it was Saturday. He didn't try to explain what options might be available. That was a terrible customer service experience.

There's a great restaurant attached, so I didn't have to head outside to eat. The hotel was clean and well run, with friendly, helpful staff and a good fitness room.

The hot breakfast was a good start to the day, with waffles, eggs, and a changing mix of healthier options. The common areas felt modern and welcoming, with places to work or unwind. Staff were attentive and professional, and both check-in and checkout were quick, with useful tips about nearby dining and attractions. My room was spacious, spotless, and nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. I felt right at home at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Aberdeen. It was good value, and I'd stay there again when I'm back in town.

The bathroom was always super clean, and it's pet friendly too. The staff were nice and helpful, and the room felt five-star. The kids also enjoyed the indoor pool.
