Breakfast is a real treat, and Mollie makes guests feel like family. We sat around the table talking before heading out, after she welcomed us with fresh cookies and explained the house. Our Magnolia room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Pine Gables is a lovely place to come back to after exploring the Sandhills. Mollie has restored and renovated the home herself, and you can see the care she’s put into it. Highly recommend.

Mollie was warm and accommodating, a wonderful cook, and such a pleasure to talk with. We found fresh cookies waiting, made from her grandmother’s recipe. The room was roomy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Pine Gables itself is a grand home, with high ceilings, a wraparound porch, detailed architecture, and beautiful gardens. The host has restored and preserved those details herself. From the B&B, we could walk to antique shops, coffee, restaurants, ice cream, a music venue, parks, and historic neighborhoods. We had a lovely time in Aberdeen. Thanks, Mollie, for sharing your beautiful place.

We had a spacious, lovely decorated room and a comfortable bed. Mollie is a great host, easy to talk to, and she really makes you feel like family. It was peaceful and relaxing, and her meals were wonderful.

My room felt so cozy, and downtown was close enough to walk to. Mollie was thoughtful and such a lovely host, and she makes delicious treats too. I loved my stay and will definitely come back. Thanks for making it so great, Mollie!

We’re local, and after a storm left our home without power, my family of four stayed in a very clean room with two beds and our own bathroom. The kids had the TV and WiFi to keep them busy, and Mollie even brought muffins and juice before bed. She was an excellent host. Coffee, restaurants, and shopping are close by. We’ll be back, and we’d recommend it to family and friends visiting from out of state.
