The worst part was what happened in the morning: while I was undressed, a room service man walked into my room. I was upset and embarrassed. I called the front desk and he apologized, then I went there to ask why this was considered okay when I’d paid for the room. He said they do that if people don’t answer the door. I recorded him saying that. What if a guest has gone out and wants the room cleaned? Does cleaning matter more than my privacy? They should know which rooms are occupied and knock, then stay out if nobody answers. I called to file a complaint and got no answer. I’ll be talking to a lawyer. The room itself was dirty too: stained bathtub, dirty bathroom floor, spider webs everywhere and a spider on the ceiling, plus a dead roach on the floor. It smelled funny, so I went out and bought air freshener, a rag, a towel, and soap. I used a towel so my feet wouldn’t touch the tub. I was only there for the weekend because it was the only place with rooms when I arrived so late.

There’s no elevator, so you have to climb flights of stairs to reach your room. Our non-smoking room still smelled, and we could smell it on our clothes after leaving. The bed was comfortable, but I won’t return. Next time I think paying extra for a fully smoke-free hotel will be worth it.

My family stayed there for a year, and it was terrible. Roaches were everywhere, breakfast was bare minimum, and the cleaners were nosey and rude. They yelled at kids, including me. When my dad was having a sort of emotional episode, they said, “Had a long night, didn’t you?” It’s not as luxurious as it looks, and there’s no elevator. The only good thing is that it’s next to a Burger King. I don’t recommend it at all.

The price was very good for the stay, and I was surprised breakfast was included for free. It’s part of the Wyndham Hotel Group, so you earn Wyndham points too. My room was spotless, the shower had good water pressure, and the staff were friendly.

We stopped at 3am, exhausted after an 18-hour drive, and walked right back out demanding a refund. The room was vile, with blood across the ceilings, walls, and carpet, cockroaches, dirt and grime coming up over the counters, and a smell like something was rotting. Absolutely horrendous for $100. Minus 10. Do not book here. Disgusting.
