For a year, I stayed here as a construction worker because it was only five minutes from the job. The price isn't worth it. They charged $329 for a week when I arrived, then raised the rate to $80 a night or $500 a week when workers came, without fixing any of the problems. The photo shows the original rates, which they no longer follow because of the construction boom and overcharging "temporary" workers. The basics were missing or in bad shape. There's no ice machine or continental breakfast, the outdoor soda machine never worked, and the Wi-Fi went out when it rained. A microwave was broken for more than three weeks, the medium fridge had no freezer, and old furniture had drawers that barely opened. The beds had old, stained mattresses with broken springs, flat dead pillows, and two flat sheets that came untucked. Towels felt like sandpaper. Water went cold when the room next door used it. They charged a $50 deposit too. The parking lot had huge potholes that went unfixed for the whole year. Old wooden doors had to be slammed to latch, including by neighbors who woke me up. The laminate flooring was updated, and the sinks looked used, like they'd come from another hotel, but that was about it. Housekeeping doesn't speak English. Overall, it's too much money for not even getting the basics, and there are no outside cameras for security. Go to South Abilene for more and better hotel options.

The microwave worked, though I only tried it out of curiosity. To sleep, I went and bought new bedding for both beds, which says a lot about the room. The bedding was stained, the couch had stains and burn holes, the refrigerator was plugged in but didn't cool and smelled terrible, and the furniture didn't match. The door to the room looked like it had been kicked in a time or two. The toilet seat was attached on only one side, there was already trash in the only bin, and the hand towel by the sink was a stained kitchen towel. When we went to make coffee in the morning, we found a moldy blob growing in the water holder. One of the worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in.

My roommate and I stayed here for a month for work, and it's the worst hotel or motel I've ever been in. There was mold on the bathroom walls and mouse droppings inside the bed in the pullout couch. We had a double room with that pullout couch, and the refrigerator didn't work. The owner was rude and disrespectful. This place isn't fit for anyone and needs to be closed down.

It cost $110 for one night, plus a $50 deposit for reasons I couldn't figure out, unless they thought I'd take the roaches with me. The place is a dump, with huge potholes in the parking lot, dirty rooms, and old, nasty beds. The furniture looks like it's from the 70s. There were no outlet covers, and a towel had been used to hold something in place by the TV. It also looks like the local "love connection" place. Pay a little extra for another motel. We wish we had.

I was in Abilene for two work days and only needed a cheap place to sleep, paying $90 a night. Booking without reading the reviews was my biggest mistake. The bed hadn't been made when I got in, and the comforter smelled. The room was so bad I couldn't tell if it was a hotel room or a storage unit, with bathroom mirrors and wall decorations piled in a corner. There was a desk and an industrial-sized microwave that didn't work, plus a moldy mini-fridge. The bathroom was even worse. I slept poorly both nights and never felt safe because the locks and door didn't work properly. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
