Best Budget Inn - Abilene

The room was in good shape, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets and a large TV. The bathroom and shower are an older design, but they did what we needed. There’s some noise from the nearby railroad track if that bothers you. No breakfast, or even coffee.

The rooms are nasty, and the front desk changes the prices on you. If you dare stay, watch out for roaches and bed bugs. Worst place I’ve ever been.

They said visitors weren’t allowed and we couldn’t leave the room. They really suck. Please don’t go there, and let everyone know.

The older lady at the front was the only good part. The room was disgusting, with stains everywhere. The microwave looked like it had never been cleaned, and the bathroom seat was very dirty. I wiped things down, but the rag turned yellow and filthy. Just looking at the room turned my stomach. I didn’t shower or eat in there because I couldn’t shake the feeling that bacteria was everywhere. My boyfriend covered the bed with some work material so we could lie down. I don’t recommend it. Sometimes you’re stuck with no other choice, so bring gloves, lots of bleach, Lysol, disinfecting wipes, your own blankets and pillow, and an extra blanket for the bed.
