Best Western Abilene Inn & Suites

The tub was covered in hair, and the shower wouldn’t drain while the water was running, so I ended up with someone else’s genital hair between my toes. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were completely empty, though at least the walk down to the desk was roach-free. I’d first walked into the room and seen a roach struggling on the floor. The hotel staff or whoever handles their Google reviews said they’d noted everything, but 24 hours after my complaint I still had no toiletries. I asked for a different room at the desk, waited 20 minutes in the lobby, then was told they couldn’t change it because my rate was locked. When I tried to cancel through Priceline, they said the hotel’s response was that it had done nothing wrong. The hotel claimed I’d asked for another room or a refund, was denied both, then made up problems. That’s not what happened. I have video evidence. The owner called me a liar, blamed me, and took no responsibility, just like the other reviews I’d read. I’m convinced people are paid to leave good reviews, because I don’t understand how this place has 3.7 stars. I’m not even paying for this hotel, so writing this doesn’t benefit me. I just want people to know what they’re getting into. Read the reviews. It’s disgusting.
