The room condition and lack of service made this stay feel wildly overpriced. I paid $320 for one night, yet the restroom was dirty and the bed comforters had visible stains. That made us question the cleanliness of the whole room. I called the front desk several times to report the problems and ask for help, but nobody picked up or made any effort to respond. At that price, I expected basic customer service and a clean room, and got neither. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Look at other options in Abilene.

Check-in staff were very nice and had no problem moving us when we asked, but both rooms felt unsanitary. We paid almost $200 for a Saturday night. The first room seemed unclean, with debris on the floor, a dirty toilet, unmopped tile, grimy tables, a hair in the bed, and messy sheets. We asked to switch right away. The second room was in similar shape, and the sink was backed up and there was no remote. We were exhausted from driving all day and didn’t want to move again, so we gave up and went to sleep. I haven’t stayed in many hotels, but this was the worst one I’ve visited. If cleanliness matters to you, I’d find another place.

I came in early because we were tired from being at the hospital, and paid extra for early check-in. The woman who helped us was sweet and did a good job, though she seemed nervous. I paid $320 plus a $50 deposit, which was meant to be refunded by the end of the stay. The money came out of my card right away. At 1am, the night worker called my cell and said we hadn’t paid. I’d finally fallen into a deep sleep after being awake all night and day, and he woke me. I went down and showed him the charge. He seemed to want to charge me twice, and I told him absolutely not. We’d sort it out in the morning, not at 1am. I was furious and stayed awake, wondering what would happen and why he thought it was okay to call in the middle of the night. I thought it might be the hospital calling about my mother. The deposit charge later appeared and then was sent back, which made it look to me like he was just charging people’s cards. In a few hours I’ll go down and make sure they know that a 1am call is unacceptable. $370 for them to try charging me again? Absolutely not.

They ruined my graduation weekend from ACU. I had three reservations for five rooms, booked in May for this weekend, with family and friends flying in or driving as much as eight hours, including me. At 9AM on check-in day, they called to say their system had mistakenly canceled the reservations. They offered the same rooms at the current rate, almost $1300 more than my booked price. I explained the situation, and they said they’d see what they could do. The woman who called stopped taking my calls, sending me to voicemail or answering and hanging up. When I called the hotel, they kept saying a manager would contact me. I called every 30 minutes for two hours while trying to manage this and drive, but never reached a manager or got a resolution. I had to find somewhere for 15 people and pay a lot out of pocket. They were unreliable and unprofessional. Don’t reserve with them. I wouldn’t recommend them, and if I could give zero stars, I would.

I’ve stayed here for four days each September or October. In September 2024 my room was immaculate, well kept, and a great value. This September, 2025, I was assigned that same room and found several problems. The dispenser for shampoo didn’t work, the caulk around the water fixtures was dirty, and there were holes in the wall from old fixtures. The hot tub was cold when I tried to use it, which is a big deal for me because it’s a major factor in choosing a hotel. Towels were mostly thin and worn through in spots, and the bedside table had drink rings and residue left behind. The front desk staff are really nice, and check-in is easy. The location works well for getting to work, and the air conditioning is cold. I got a great Expedia rate, around $129 for the night, though I heard someone else checking in at about $160. I like this place and plan to return in 2026, but hope things improve. I’ll be expecting a clean bed and a hot, bubbly hot tub next time. Thanks to the staff.
