Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Northeast

There were plenty of spots in the lobby to sit, work, or just relax, and my room was clean, comfortable, and nice. What really made this one stand out was the staff: everyone I ran into was welcoming, warm, and very friendly. They clearly know hospitality. Probably the best Courtyard I’ve stayed at, and I’ll book here again for future trips to Abilene.

Nothing went sideways during my stay, which is exactly what I want from a hotel. The staff were helpful and pleasant, the room was clean, the bed did its job, and everything worked like it should. A good spot to sleep and recharge, then wake up wondering which city you’re in. I’d stay again.

Kerri is my superhero. I’ve never had a better hotel experience, and that’s thanks to the kind, understanding woman at the front desk. She kept the conversation going and the spirits and vibes high. This was on Feb 16 at 1am. If you haven’t met her, you haven’t experienced hospitality. I’d recommend the hotel just in the hope you meet Kerri. She deserves a trophy.

The room had good furniture and a useful desk, the shower pressure was good, and the blackout was decent during the day. It was clean, too. My biggest pro, though, is Mario at the front desk. Across 100+ hotels and many cities, he’s treated me the best, made me feel welcome, and handled all my many needs. I’ve stayed at all the Marriotts in Abilene, and chose this one for an extended stay of 2 weeks+ because of him. The AC was a little loud but not enough to keep me up. The hotel is older than the other two options in town.
