The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is just enough to get by on, though it isn’t great. You have to ask if you want your room cleaned each day. There was also a hobo camp in the parking lot. It’s fine.

We’re still here with two rooms, and this has been a huge disappointment. We checked in by 2 p.m., but the first room’s door was open, the room was a mess, and the bed had no sheets. It hadn’t been cleaned. Downstairs, they said someone could put sheets on the bed, but there was something about them having left. Housekeeping didn’t finish until after 4. Then we were told not to enter because there was so much mold in the shower that the housekeeper had used a massive amount of bleach, which had spread through the room. We finally got moved. The replacement room had TV problems. The front desk woman was, for lack of a better word, extremely lazy. At one point she asked me to take the master controller upstairs and see if I could fix it. That didn’t work. I went back down because we had held the rooms with my debit card but wanted to pay with a credit card. She changed the cards, but charged my debit card two more times. Now it shows four charges and two reversals. She said the extra two would drop off. I explained they would only drop off with reversals, so there should be four reversals for four charges. The credit card also has two charges, meaning we’re being charged four times for two rooms. The bank said I can file a claim once the charges post. I hope the night staff can understand the problem. We’re stuck here because everywhere is sold out, including this hotel. I feel sorry for whoever gets room 204, the bleach room. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The service was friendly, and my room was clean, with a comfy bed and soft pillows. I’ve just settled in for the night, so I may add more tomorrow. Free continental breakfast, and it was delicious. I’d give it 10 out of 10. I had fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, a potato cake, toast, and a freshly made waffle. They also had cereal, fresh fruit, milk, and more, plus fresh biscuits and gravy. The amenities included a workout room, pool, and an office for faxing or keeping up with daily work and activities. 10 out of 10!

I stay in a lot of hotels each year, and I really liked this one. Carl was amazing with customer service. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.
