Western Motel

The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and quiet, and the manager and staff were very good people with great customer service. Maid service was great too, and the room smelled fresh with no smoke odor. The price wasn't bad. Does anyone know if they serve breakfast here?

The place seemed okay for the most part, but the owner threatened to kick my children's dad out because the kids were playing too loudly outside. He's paying almost $800 a month, and I don't think it should be a problem for his children to play outdoors. They could have been screaming and jumping around inside the room instead, but being outside was still an issue. I guess the owner either doesn't have kids or won't let them be kids. I've lost my business.

The style is old, though it looked clean on the surface. When I stayed in the same room the previous week, the food I'd accidentally spilled was still there. For the money, it isn't close to being worth it. I'd pay $35 a night at most.

I told the manager I only had $100 for two nights, and he agreed to the $63 price he'd quoted me. Then I got to the room and found a dead rat on the floor. The floor badly needed vacuuming, and two lamps had electrical tape on them.
