The bed was comfortable and the location decent, but I was very disappointed. There was hair on the bed and a towel, no hot water, and no breakfast despite it being advertised. I booked because I just needed somewhere to sleep, shower, and eat breakfast before a four-hour drive home.

My partner and I stayed here on New Year's after an event by the boardwalk. The room was clean, with no bugs or unpleasant smells, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and checkout were both easy. We'd definitely stay again.

Even with the blizzard going on, they found a way to accommodate us. The owner was great and quickly fixed an issue that was beyond their control. Thank you.

I booked through booking.com on June 3 for June 20-23, when I was coming for a pool tournament, and called right after to pay in full. The service was awful. The owner was disrespectful and unprofessional. Before arrival I called to confirm the reservation and later to ask about the fridge size. Both times she was rude and hung up abruptly. The morning after check-in, we told her the internet wasn't working, which also meant the TV wouldn't work, and the microwave hadn't managed to heat a cup of noodles in 15 minutes. She said we could check out if we didn't like it, then threatened that we'd be locked out of the room when we returned. She cursed and used the F word several times in front of my 13-year-old daughter. I managed to calm things down and stayed through Monday checkout. I was busy at the tournament and couldn't use the pool over the weekend, though it was the only reason I booked there. The sign said it opened at 10 am, so we packed the car early on checkout morning to swim for an hour first. When my daughter went to enter the pool area, the owner hurried over and locked the gate, saying the state was coming to check the water levels. There had been no notice that the pool would be unavailable, and the gate had been open at the posted time. The whole experience was awful. After I posted a review on booking.com, I later got an email saying I hadn't shown up and would be charged a cancellation fee. I called the police for guidance and learned that the property had received many past consumer complaints about refunds and similar issues. Update: The owner replied that none of this happened, but I can prove it. I ordered delivery there because we had no microwave, and I still have the card she gave me with the WiFi name and password, room number, and key code. I also have card statements showing the business that charged me for the weekend. Nice try.
