Holiday Inn Express & Suites Absecon-Atlantic City by IHG

The room felt surprisingly high end for a no-frills place. It was clean and updated, and housekeeping came through every day, making the bed and leaving everything tidy. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and breakfast was delicious, with omelets, country potatoes, bacon, sausage, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and plenty more. We were also greeted by a helpful, friendly staff member when we checked in.

The kids were big fans of the pool, and breakfast was included and delicious. Our clean two-bedroom suite fit all five of us perfectly. The staff were very accommodating, especially Krystal, who was a fabulous help, and Steve and Nas, who helped us later that night. It’s only a 15-minute drive from Atlantic City, so it worked out great for us. Until next time!

The bed was comfortable and I liked the breakfast choices. Everything else was good, except for two problems during my five-day stay: black ants in the bathroom and by the fridge and microwave, and a man and woman who were very loud in the daytime and especially at night.

This chain is my usual choice for business trips, probably 75-80% of the time. The hotels are fairly consistent and seem to be everywhere. Here, the service was very good, and the place was clean, friendly, and typically quiet. Breakfast was free, as you’d expect at many places that offer it. The beds were average, but the pillows were excellent.
