The King Suite was a good size for the price, and I liked both the room and the area. After I met the owner and confirmed my online booking, the stay went well. I didn’t run into bugs or dirty linens like some reviews mentioned, and the owner was nice and accommodating. My son visited and liked the room too. There were some people around who seemed like they didn’t have a room there. I can see how dealing with people disrespecting his property could be frustrating. I told him I’m a nice person and he doesn’t have to worry about me during my stay. I was worried because of the reviews, but I’ll come back. I think the bad reviews may be from people who give the owner a hard time or trash his property.

Bob, the Host, is available 24/7 and was welcoming and professional when I booked a room that evening. Inside, everything was very clean, the neighbors were quiet, and I had towels, soaps, air-conditioning, three pillows, and good Wi-Fi. Checkout just after 10 AM was quick: I handed in my key card and got on the road. Thanks, and I hope to stay in the area again soon.

The room itself wasn’t bad, though it was old. I got a hot tub room at a good price, but had to clean white powder off the tub. Check-in took about 20 minutes before we got a key. The guy photocopied my debit card, then gave me attitude when I asked why, saying I hadn’t shown ID and he could have thrown me out. I had given him my ID, but it was stuck in my wallet, so I handed the wallet over. I’ll be changing my debit card. He also said they don’t have bugs and to not bring bugs, which was bizarre. The next day, someone came into our room to clean the air conditioning. They sprayed and opened the curtains, leaving our things visible, but didn’t take the trash or bring fresh towels. The guy told me to pay cash next time. I won’t be back; I don’t feel comfortable with how things are done here. I guess this is what you get for a cheap room.

We had nowhere else to go that night, but I’d strongly advise against staying here, especially with children. It felt unsafe and like a risk to our health. We booked last minute for the 4th of July and knew prices would be high, but this was a nightmare. I’ve stayed in much better hotels for far less. The room was filthy and neglected, with a terrible smell of smoke, mold, and chemicals as soon as we walked in. The view was depressing too. The bathroom was horrifying, with grime everywhere, handprints on the wall, and no shower curtain. Then they tried to add another $150, saying the website had a glitch. We refused, but it added stress to an already awful stay. By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.
