The showerhead was broken, the comforter had dirty spots, and the carpet felt sticky under my socks. I didn't want to lie down after finding black hair on the sheet by the pillows when I turned back the covers. At first the room had seemed fine.

The man who said he was the owner was incredibly rude when we tried to extend our stay. He berated us over a payment method he'd accepted before, kept walking away while talking, and wouldn't clarify when I asked him to repeat himself. Instead, he ranted that he'd just gotten out of court for “this shit” and told us to get our things and leave if we weren't staying. I didn't know what he meant and was completely lost. His outburst came from nowhere, and we hadn't done anything to warrant him taking his frustration out on us. The conditions were awful. There were roaches, and now we have to get all our clothes professionally cleaned so we don't bring any home. Spiders and webs covered the walkways, with nothing done to make them safe. The A/C wouldn't cool the room, the mini fridge flooded and leaked, and there appeared to be blood on a wall. The sink outlet didn't work, several bulbs were missing, the phone wasn't connected, and the microwave plate wouldn't spin, so food burned. The couch had a huge stain, bedside lamps had exposed wires, one was held up with tape, and there was no smoke detector. The carpet turned my socks black and was coming up enough to be a trip hazard. There were dog prints on the linens, though we don't have a dog. The website advertised breakfast, but there wasn't any. I had to ask repeatedly for a receipt and was promised one, but never got it. On Tuesday 9/23/25, the owner turned off the power for "maintenance" without telling anyone what was happening. On Sunday night into Monday morning, 9/28/25-9/29/25, people were allowed to blast music until 2:30-3:00AM, and nothing was done. I was also overcharged a day ($85) and never reimbursed. I tried "contacting management," as they keep telling people to do, but that did nothing. Nothing got fixed, and they didn't refund the overcharge.

The website said breakfast was available, but a small notice on the window said it was suspended until further notice. The carpet was so dirty I kept my socks on. There were also several cigarette burns in the blankets in my nonsmoking room.

For $70, this was probably the worst hotel I've stayed at in years, and Booking.com should reconsider working with it. The beds were comfortable, and one of the four pillows was decent, but the rooms were worse than I expected. I found hairs and bits of debris, then checked with a blacklight; the sheets looked cleaner than I'd expected. The lobby entrance stays locked all day and night. There was activity coming and going throughout the night, which felt potentially dangerous for a family. I'd call the hotel "Trapped Out".
