Holiday Inn Express Ada by IHG

I always enjoy staying here, and the rooms are clean. I ask for upgrades, but someone else still beats me to them haha. I’ve got two suggestions. Breakfast should start about 30 minutes earlier. A lot of construction workers stay here, me included, and we leave too early to get breakfast. Also, the elevator broke on the day I had to check out from the third floor. That made me realize how out of shape I am.

The staff were the best part. They really bent over backwards to make sure everything was right for us. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was fabulous. Loved this hotel. Outstanding place to stay, don’t even think about staying anywhere else!

The Holiday Inn in Ada was conveniently close to the event I was attending. That’s about the best thing I can say. I’d contacted them days earlier and confirmed I’d have a first-floor room because of my mobility issues, but when we arrived they put me on the second floor. The front desk did correct that, but it kicked off a run of other problems. The room felt moist, with humidity so intense the fixtures were rusty. There were dead flies on the wall, bodily fluid stains on the couch, and strange green and white stains in the tub. Nobody in our party felt comfortable using it. I used the iron and board to get my clothes ready for the next day, and rusty water started spewing from the iron’s base. Breakfast was meant to start at 6:30. We came down at 7:20 to gravy with no biscuits, an empty oatmeal pot, a cold, empty pancake maker, and two sad old oranges. There were eggs, but after everything else we didn’t feel comfortable trying them. When we got home, everyone who’d been on the couch had mysterious bug bites. Yeah. That. There were lots of pillows, and a very convenient nightlight in the bathroom.

This is easily one of the best Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at. The staff are friendly and eager to help.
