The old building details were great, and I loved hanging out, roasting coffees and watching 👀 Top Gun Maverick. The hosts were FRIENDLY and welcoming, and there were plenty of amenities. I went to the Mad Hatter, literally just around the corner within walking distance. This was a UNIQUE, GREAT experience for a weekend out of the city, especially for antique shopping in what feels like America's central location for it. The common space downstairs could work for a retreat, team building, or whatever, and the rooms are worth booking. They also have a POOL out back. I recommend coming here for a weekend away to antique shop. I told the owner they're sitting on a gem. If I were the owners, I'd market to DMV Military personnel and offer a shuttle bus to and from DMV, since they want and need to get out of the city and transport may be a factor.

We felt like personal guests of the family. They were welcoming and kind, and we loved being greeted by their dogs whenever we came in. We may have enjoyed the puppy time more than the dogs did! At breakfast, we chatted with Amanda, who gave us a helpful tip about a local library book sale happening that morning. Each morning there was a delicious hot breakfast. The house is gorgeous, with lovely period details, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We wanted to be near Adamstown's antique stores, and this B&B was ideal, close to the shops along 272 and a peaceful place to unwind after a full day of browsing. VAAST Bed & Breakfast made our weekend. It checked every box, and then some. I can't recommend it enough.

Our room (6) was clean and comfortable, and the historic details throughout the charming, cozy home are beautiful. There's a massage chair downstairs that's a must try if you have time. The hosts were welcoming, personable, and down to earth. We felt at home right from arrival. If we're in the area again, VAAST will be our choice.

Breakfast was simple and fresh, with cooked items, fresh fruit, and a range of drinks. The parking was good, and there are lots of nice shops nearby. As my first Bed & Breakfast, VAAST did not disappoint. I liked my room and felt secure with code-only access. Amanda was an amazing host. I definitely recommend the property to anyone staying in the area.

I stayed at VAAST Bed and Breakfast last weekend and had an amazing trip. Amanda was an excellent host, and everything was clean, comfortable, and charming. I'll return and would definitely recommend it to everyone.
