The staff I dealt with were nice, but the rooms were awful and dirty, including the furniture. The photos made the place look WAY better than it was, and I didn’t feel safe at all. We brought our eight-month-old because we needed a kitchen and a separate room, but we’ll never stay here again. I’m incredibly disappointed that we paid so much for this level of quality, or lack of it.

UPDATE: Johnny, the front desk manager, listened to my concerns, acted quickly, and offered to make things right. He was courteous and professional, so I’ve changed the service rating from one to five stars. Before that, the stay was horrible. There’s only one luggage cart for a hotel spread across several three-story buildings, so we couldn’t find it and had to bring our luggage in over multiple trips. One building’s entry gate doesn’t close, so anyone can get inside, and there’s a sketchy hotel right next door. At check-in they had no baby crib or extra pillows. The desk clerk said he was out of pillows and couldn’t leave the desk to get more from the room service closet. The bedroom fan wouldn’t turn off, and the kitchen sink knobs were reversed, hot gave cold water and cold gave hot, almost burning my hand. The night duty Asian gentleman at the front desk had no expression and seemed like he hated his job. Hilton should audit and pull its flag. They clearly went with the cheapest contractor they could find. Photos attached. I’m a proud Hilton Honors Gold member, and Hilton has many great properties, but this one doesn’t reflect the brand.

The front desk woman was very nice and explained the policies clearly, but the manager was rude and unprofessional from the start. I’d booked a room and tried that morning to extend my stay. I was told to make a new reservation, then the manager called shortly after and said they don’t allow people to pay later, even though we’d tried to pay before leaving. His tone was demeaning and disrespectful. His behavior bordered on racism, which made things even more uncomfortable. The policies weren’t clearly explained, and the paper clearly said two days, so the situation was confusing and frustrating. The hotel is old and outdated, with a noticeable smell throughout. The lobby AC was broken, so checking in in the heat was uncomfortable. It was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is great, and the front desk guy was nice. They gave me a bag of treats when I checked in, and there’s free breakfast, though I haven’t tried it yet and will update after breakfast. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again. As a woman on my own, I didn’t feel safe. The place needs major updating and a deep clean. My photos show a chair in the room that looked like it had been picked up off the side of the road. The hotel looked like a set of 1980s apartments, 1990s at most, and the grounds matched the inside. There were so many dogs barking in rooms it was hard to concentrate. They do welcome dogs, though, if you need a pet-friendly place.
