MainStay Suites Addison-Dallas

A big plus is that every room has a kitchen, and there are plenty of places to eat within a block or so. The location is great. The business center is just a small cubby with a monitor, though, and breakfast is basically a coffee bar and store-bought pastries. There were no juices, waffle makers, or hot food. For a typical three-star hotel, it has some positives and some letdowns.

I’ve stayed at the Mainstay Suites in Addison, Dallas many times and have had a great experience. The elevator is kept up and works perfectly. The front desk staff are professional, helpful, and consistently take good care of guests. I’ll definitely stay there again next time I’m in Dallas.

I saw what looked like an advertised rate of 45 a night on Google, but when I called, the person at the counter quoted almost 80 for one night. This place feels ridiculously expensive for what it is. I don’t think it’s worth even 60 a night. It’s hard enough trying to get by and climb out of a rut without hotels overcharging for poor conditions. If they’re charging that much, they should put a lot more effort into the process and the rooms.

Roaches, both alive and dead, made me switch rooms three times. I just want my money back, but the staff haven’t helped. The manager apologized and offered me a soda. I’ll never stay here again. Worst place ever.
