Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel

Some elevators were out of service, which made it slow and inconvenient to get around. I also asked for housekeeping to service my room, but it was never cleaned during my stay. I had paid extra for concierge access, only to find it wasn't available on the weekend, and that hadn't been made clear when I booked. For the price and advertised services, the stay was disappointing. I hope the hotel communicates better and improves its service for future guests.

The team made my stay easy and comfortable. Everyone was warm, respectful, and genuinely helpful, and I appreciated the way they treated me. As a Marriott Bonvoy elite member, I also felt recognized, and the upgrade was a welcome touch. I'd recommend this property and plan to return.

The customer service was awful, and Tiffany, the “manager”, needs to learn how to accommodate guests better. I had booked months ahead for a conference at this hotel, but when I arrived they said a flood meant there was no room for me. They offered a voucher for an old, grubby, dated two star hotel about four miles away. When I asked for a nearby Marriott of equal or better value, they said that wasn't an option and told me to come back the next day for a junior suite. I booked a nearby Marriott online and stayed there that night. When I checked in here the next day, the only room they offered was old and dated, with no exterior view. It was very disappointing for a hotel with the Marriott name, so we chose to stay somewhere else. I would not recommend this location.

We've used the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel for several large events, including gatherings with more than 500 attendees. Each time, the team has handled the logistics reliably, from setup through breakdown, and stayed responsive and organized throughout. The event rooms are spacious and well maintained, so people can move through the day smoothly. Staff are attentive without hovering. It's been a dependable choice for our larger events, and we've appreciated the professionalism and consistency every time we've worked with them.
