The staff are incredible, and the food is the best I’ve had in a long time. Breakfast is great, the steaks are amazing, and the chef’s special desserts are worth trying. There’s also a bar with pool tables and a liquor store. A great place to stay for a snowmobile trip. We’ll be back!

We came in before the bar opened, and the woman in charge let us in, served lunch, and let us play pool. The food was good, the beer was cold, and the staff made it feel like no trouble at all. That was customer service at its best, and we really enjoyed the visit. Then we asked for another round. The woman, who I assumed was an owner, said the bar was closed and repeated that after I reminded her she’d already let us in for beer and lunch. So much for that earlier hospitality. Happy customers spend money!

The buffet was authentic Mexican food, good value, and a perfect meal. Our economy room was on the small side, but clean, comfortable, and very nice. The staff and managers were wonderful, treating us like old friends as soon as we arrived. I’d stay here again if I’m back.

The place has the right vibe for Afton, and the wings are good, with decent burgers. But the steak was a real letdown for a Wyoming bar. I ordered it rare and it looked like the bottom of my boot. Service was a mess on both sides. The restaurant server didn’t know the menu and was hard to get an order through to, while the bar staff often couldn’t tell who had which food or even manage to take orders. Most of the bartenders seemed to make getting service a performance, even though the place wasn’t very busy. The music can also get blasted at a very high volume, and it’s often bad. It’s basically the main option of this kind in Afton, and if they got things running better, it could be a good place to go.
