Nature's Inn Bed and Breakfast

We had the whole top floor in the Clouds Rest room, with thoughtful details and great decor throughout. The balcony was a real treat for watching birds, including a Turkey Vulture that landed in a nearby tree. The mountain views were incredible, and the whole place felt restful. We also won’t forget getting into the hot tub after dark. Sherri was a wonderful host, and her breakfasts were both excellent and distinctive. She also gave us useful tips for our Yosemite visits. I can’t recommend the place enough if you’re in Yosemite.

Sherilee and the rest of the Nimon family made us feel so welcome. They did everything they could to make our family’s stay enjoyable, and we were sorry to leave. It was the best stop on our California and Nevada road trip. The location made it easy to get to Yosemite, with Oakhurst shops and restaurants nearby. Sherilee helped us plan our park itinerary with useful tips. Breakfast was excellent and got us ready for the day, and she kindly accommodated my wife’s egg allergy. We also really enjoyed talking with Sherilee, Kathy, and Mike.

The owner and her family were very friendly and helpful. They suggested kid-friendly places to see in Yosemite since we only had 1.5 days, and made special breakfasts both mornings for our gluten-free and non-pork diets. I wish we could have stayed longer. I was there with my 7-year-old Godson, and we had a great time in the Clouds Rest room, which I think Hotels.com called “the premium ensuite.” The balcony had a lovely mountain view. I stayed up late looking at the stars and got up early for the sunrise. My Godson loved the log cabin feel, garden, and pool. The inn is about 18 miles from Yosemite’s South Entrance. In summer, expect a 10-15 minute wait to get into the park.

Sherri and Kathy were so accommodating, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was included, freshly made each day, and different every morning, with coffee, tea, juice, and cookies. There were snacks too, and coffee with creamers in the room. The room was clean and well equipped, with a fridge and freezer and outlets on both sides of the bed. The pool and hot tub were clean, the grounds were tidy, and there was plenty of free parking. We had a nice outdoor area for breakfast, and turn-down service was provided. Rates were reasonable.
