Sierra Meadows

I liked the easy self check-in, and the cabins all looked well maintained. There’s a small shop on site with most things you can think of, and the prices were reasonable. Yosemite Valley is less than 1.5 hours away. I’d stay here again if I visit Yosemite, and would recommend it.

Two days before our trip, we got into a car accident and had to cancel. The car couldn’t be driven, and we needed to stay home to handle the accident, insurance, and medical matters. My oldest child is sore from it, so losing the $90+ deposit with no refund, compromise, or other offer felt like adding insult to injury. This was poor customer service and says a lot about the company. Also, the Expedia profile didn’t make it clear that the smaller cabins have no private bathrooms. I only found out after booking, when I saw a mention of a shared bathroom. In February, with snow and rain, who wants to go outside at night to use the bathroom? They can advertise it falsely, but won’t refund you for an emergency.

A cozy little getaway, with clean, comfortable cabins and friendly staff. It’s only a few minutes from Oakhurst, and the cabins aren’t far off the main road. I’d definitely go back.

We stayed in the micro cabin and really liked how cozy and comfortable it was. The Sierra Meadows campground was great, with clean bathrooms, helpful staff, and quiet nights. There were free bikes for the trails, plus access to the pool and hot tub. It’s very dog-friendly too.
