Melinda made us feel so welcome. We got to Aiken around 10:00 a.m. and called to ask about check-in, and she said the rooms were ready and we could come whenever. They were clean and very comfortable, and that bed was VERY comfy. We stayed one night, enjoyed it, and will return. Thanks, Melinda. (Pilots)

By the end of the weekend, Melinda felt more like a friend than a host. The home is beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches, and the food was fantastic. My parents, my husband, and I had such an unforgettable stay that we’re already planning another.

We got lucky and found an opening at the inn for the week my mother was visiting from out of town. The place is immaculate and well kept, with gorgeous rooms and a worldly, almost museum-like feel. The host is warm and generous, and the coffee and cookies are a treat. I’d recommend it for a stay-cation or for anyone coming in from out of town. Thank you!

Those blueberry pancakes made with her homegrown berries were the best I’ve ever had. The owner is a lovely, welcoming host and a fantastic cook. We had such an enjoyable stay at this gorgeous inn. Thank you, Melinda, for making our visit so special and memorable. One for the record books!

Melinda has made the inn beautiful with artwork and furnishings that reflect her years in the southwestern . It’s spacious, spotless, comfortable, and she serves a delicious, filling breakfast suited to her guests’ needs. I adore everything about The Birdsnest Inn and can hardly wait to come back. Thank you, Melinda, for making guests so happy here!
