The location is convenient, near town, and the front desk staff were very helpful. My room was comfortable, with a microwave and fridge, and I liked the TCM on the tube. The antique decor suited the place. My mattress was a little soft, though not too bad, and the shower got hot immediately, so be aware. I’d stay again. Only complaint was the small fish portion at the golf club sports bar next door.

I wrapped up an extended stay feeling happy about the experience. The Inn was quiet and away from downtown's hustle and bustle, and my room was extremely comfortable and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I’ll recommend it to friends and family, and look forward to visiting again.

It has the cozy feel of an old bed and breakfast, with a hotel-style layout. The beds were comfortable, and the quaint breakfast added to that homey atmosphere. There’s old-world charm with a touch of posh elegance. We enjoyed our stay.

The kids loved winding down with fresh-baked cookies and hot chocolate, and the pool was a hit with everyone. Our spotless room had very comfortable beds, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. They even found a few things we’d forgotten at home. Expedia had it wrong about the on-site bar and restaurant, which are actually part of a country club, but we were still very happy with our stay at The Inn at Houndslake during our trip to Aiken for Nationals. We’ll be back for future Nationals events. Highly recommend!

The two front desk ladies, one in the morning and one in the evening, were an absolute delight. We were in the area for my sister’s funeral, and they treated my niece and me like family. The rooms were clean, the beds soft and comfortable, and the setting on the golf course was gorgeous. My only suggestion would be motion lights or brighter parking lot lighting for evening and early morning. Nothing could have been more perfect.
