That picnic basket was such a nice touch. We loved the gorgeous room, the amazing food, and the awesome service at The Conner House. Highly recommend!

The house is like a time capsule, with so much to explore, and it might or might not be haunted, so take it at your own pace. The drive is worth it for the experience and service. Be sure to book through the website instead of Expedia or another site. This piece of history deserves to receive all the proceeds from your visit.

Great value, though a train came through a few times during the night. Connie is friendly, humble, and accommodating, and breakfast was out of this world. Ask for the pumpkin cream cheese French toast!

The clawfoot tub was my favorite part of the beautiful house. Connie made us feel welcome and did an amazing job hosting. We loved the delicious food and the town, and sitting outside on the big porch to read was lovely. We also went to the local pub. We'll be back!

A restful getaway just an hour from St Louis, with great food, a lot of history, and wonderful care from Connie and her team.
