Once we were parked in our site, the night turned out fine. The hookups were in great shape, with updated or brand new electrical, strong water pressure, and no sewer problems. The staff went out of their way to help, and a seasonal camper offered useful local suggestions too. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, and the area around the park could use a cleanup.

Linda on staff was an absolute gem and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The motel gave us a clean bed and a place to rest, but the rooms badly need updating. A little soap and shampoo in the bathroom and a coffee pot in the room would help.

We had a great three-day stay and plan to come back next year. The manager was very nice, and we also know the owner and his son, who were both helpful and friendly. There was plenty of room for our 43 ft motorhome and the vehicle we were towing.

The staff member was pleasant, and we love Organ Pipe, only about 20 minutes away. The motel itself is very basic, though there aren't many choices in Ajo. There was no soap, the room was heated by a space heater, and the uncovered shower window made my wife uneasy.
