It really feels like home here, whether you’re staying a short time or settling in. The staff are the best, especially Michelle. If you’re headed to Akron, this is the place ❤️

Since moving into the 797 building, I’ve felt watched and unwelcome. I’m young, Black, successful, pay rent on time, and have a service animal with proper legal documentation. I can’t say whether race or the animal is behind this, but the landlord and an employee have been harassing me. The employee works in the building and is allegedly a 24/7 caretaker for a family member there, which supposedly gives her round-the-clock access. She uses her position to follow and harass tenants she thinks are doing something wrong or simply doesn’t like. Security cameras have been used to track and monitor my movements, violating my privacy, tenant rights, and right to quiet enjoyment. My mail is being mishandled and delivered after business hours, and the landlord is using the cameras negligently to try to terminate my lease. I was accused of having an unauthorized animal even though I provided the correct documents. This has made the building feel unsafe and created a hostile living environment. I’d think carefully about moving here.

It’s an odd building, but the modern decor in the units was nice, and it was one of the quietest places I’ve stayed. I lived here for nearly a year while traveling for work, and had what I needed, including a kitchen, gym, and laundry room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The area isn’t the best, and I came and went at all hours, but the well-lit parking lot meant I never felt unsafe. It’s not luxury housing, just a nice option for a longer stay. I’d gladly stay again when passing through.

The restaurant on site, Alexander Pierce, was second to none. I had the most amazing dinner I’ve ever had, and the whole staff at 797 did a great job. The rooms were excellent, and the screen suites were a nice spot to unwind with games or movies. There’s everything you could need or want here. What a wonderful place to stay!

I’d stay here again next time. Having a clean room with convenient amenities made my three-night stay easy, and the host was very responsive. The gym and breakfast room were a welcome surprise. The room was near the elevator, and the building was a few miles from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which made getting around simple. Thanks, Nick, for a five-star experience.
