The front desk let us look at two other rooms after we raised the problem, but neither was much better. They had less mold in the showers, and that was about the only improvement. In our room, the bathroom and other walls were dirty with what looked like muddy handprints. The shower curtain was yellowed and stained, and the towels were thin, worn, and badly marked. The pillows were flat and covered in orange-brown spots that looked like mold; the bottom mattress looked just as bad, and I was afraid to check under the sheets. Despite its 7.2 cleanliness rating on Expedia, this inn felt filthy. The whole place needs to be gutted and redone.

We left at 2 in the morning because we couldn't bring ourselves to sleep in those rooms, and had nowhere else to go but the car. The reservation had been messed up, and the two rooms we were given were in awful shape. Roaches were in the sheets and climbing the walls in both rooms. It felt like an army of them was marching everywhere. Thinking about them crawling over me while I slept made this feel like the worst place in the whole state. If I could give zero stars, I would. By far my worst experience. Steer clear.

While our power was out from Hurricane Helena, we stayed here and had a great experience. The room was clean and affordable, and the family who owns the place went out of their way to help us. My elderly father had some issues, and I had a broken leg, but they still made sure we were accommodated. I’d definitely stay again.

This place felt sketchy and gave me weird vibes, and finding roaches in the room was the last straw. I told the guy who took our keys, but he just scoffed at us. It wasn’t worth $94. Most of the rooms seemed to be getting demolished anyway, and I wouldn’t pay more than $20. Stay somewhere else.

Really liked the coffee they served for breakfast, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was such a sweetheart.
