La Posada Inn

We’re very happy with our stay so far. The woman at the front desk got us checked in fast, and when we noticed the TV remote was missing, she found another one right away. :)

The beds felt stiff, and the pillows were flat and as big as couch cushions. We woke up with sore backs and necks. When I tried to adjust the air conditioner, its front panel came off. It was really dusty, though I managed to put the panel back on.

The room hadn’t been cleaned, even though we were told it had been. There was urine on the floor by the toilet, plus dirt and dead bugs near the bed. When we asked the housekeeper for fresh sheets because ours were stained, she was rude, asked what room we were in, then said we couldn’t have another set.

I was in Alamo because my mom was in the hospital, so this hotel worked well for the kind of stay I needed. I spent most of my time elsewhere, sometimes sleeping at the hospital, and mainly used the room to shower and sleep. The rate was reasonable, the room comfortable, and the staff very nice, so the stay was pleasant. The shower could’ve been cleaner, and it didn’t work well. The complimentary breakfast was practically nonexistent.
