La Quinta Inn & Suites Wyndham Alamo McAllen East

The laundry was spotless, and the hotel looked very well maintained. Our room, breakfast, and amenities were all excellent, and the stay was one of my best value stays at a La Quinta this year. The one letdown was check-in: Ashely was curt and dismissive. I may have looked rough after a five-hour drive, but that poor customer service really stood out. The rest of the visit more than made up for it, and I highly recommend the hotel.

The beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of space, but my door wouldn’t close properly. From outside, I could open it just by turning the handle and pushing, without a key. It seemed okay once I was inside and locked it. The front desk said there were no other rooms, so I blocked the door with chairs. The staff member was nice enough, but although they said the manager would come look at it, they never showed up.

We enjoyed breakfast every morning, and the location was very convenient. Sandra and Lizzet helped us during our stay, and the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. I’ve stayed at The Quinta off the expressway in Alamo, TX, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The staff were great, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. You couldn’t hear a thing from the other rooms, so it felt very private.
