Home2 Suites By Hilton Alamogordo White Sands

My dogs loved the open dirt areas around the hotel, and there are a few pet stops with poop bags, though no fenced pet area. Treats are available at the front desk, along with a little store stocked with useful things. The staff took time to talk with us and pet our pups, and offered sand sleds that were so much fun at White Sands. The rooms had plenty of space and shelving, and felt big enough for two adults and two large dogs. They were clean and nicely decorated. The beds were a bit hard, but the pillows were nice and the AC worked great. My family was comfortable here, and I liked that the hotel was just outside Alamogordo in what felt like a safer location. We enjoyed the porch, and had no issue sitting on the patio as 420 friendly guests. If I come back to White sands soon, I'd ask for a room here first.

Check-in took a while, at least 30 minutes, because the night staff couldn't figure out our reservation. Once we got to the room, there appeared to be dry food all over the couch, and it looked like it had been there for weeks or months. Breakfast wasn't worth bothering with, so find somewhere else to eat. Other than those problems, the place was very nice.

The property was clean and inviting throughout, from the rooms and lobby to the pool and gym. It's in a nicer part of town, and we were happy we booked it. Probably the best hotel in almagordo. Our original room had been oversold when I arrived late at night. Kathryn K and her manager Sara H moved me from a studio to a larger suite with a kitchen, helped with my special parking requests, and went above and beyond to make the stay great. I hope hilton values them as much as I do. Thanks to both of you for another flawless 5 star experience with hilton.

The gym was great, and I got in a really good workout. The room was awesome, with a great shower too. Breakfast was the best hits breakfast I've ever had. I loved the vegan nuggets, and the rest of it was varied and delicious.
