Super 8 Alamogordo

Mike gave us a really friendly welcome at check-in, and the room had exactly what we needed for our visit to White Sands National Park. The hardwood floors were nice, the air conditioner worked, the shower was fabulous, and the room was clean. The view was wonderful too. Breakfast was the usual American spread, lots of carbs. I would've liked eggs or another protein option. Still, the room was perfect for our stay. There's a Hobby Lobby across the street and Walmart is 2 miles away, which was handy.

The free sleds for White Sands Park were a nice touch, and breakfast was okay, but bed bugs ruined the stay. I had skin problems during my visit. The sheets were stained and looked used, and the room wasn't clean. It was very disappointing. I would never recommend this hotel or go back.

Everything worked, the room was very clean, and the staff were welcoming. There were plenty of towels, great water pressure, and lots of hot water. I only wished there'd been a stopper for the tub so I could take a relaxing bath. Thank you, Super 8 Alamogordo.

For a solo night, this was just right. The room was a little smaller than I expected and mostly clean, while the bathroom suited my needs perfectly. The location was fantastic, close to lots of different restaurants and a convenient place to pick up a few things I needed on my drive.
