White Sands Motel

The staff were friendly in a genuine way, and I felt safe and comfortable here. It's easy to get to, you can park right outside your room, and there wasn't much road noise. The bed was comfortable enough, the room was clean enough, though there was some dust behind the bed, and the shower got hot enough. It may not have much retro motel charm, but it was a nice place to spend the night.

We chose this place based on the reviews while driving to AZ, and it lived up to them. The staff were very nice, our room was large and very clean, and the king bed in room #24 was comfortable. The AC had a remote and kept the room at the right temperature. The mini fridge worked well and had a small freezer. A few different places to eat are within walking distance. Highly recommend, and we'll stay again.

The grounds and rooms were clean and well cared for, and the owner was friendly and helpful. My family is pretty picky about hotels and motels. I booked White Sands Motel based on the reviews, especially since there weren't many choices, and because I usually avoid chains. We were pleased with it. The no-smoking and no-pets policy was nice. I love dogs, but with our daughter's allergies, I'd rather not share a motel or hotel with pets. We'd definitely stay here again.

Having three beds for our family of five was what made White Sands Motel work for us, and we were grateful to find a room that fit everyone. We were in town for my brother’s funeral, so a quiet, safe, really clean place mattered a lot. The whole property, inside and out, was well kept, and it’s clear the owners take pride in it. Bridgette, the housekeeper, was especially friendly and kind. Breakfast had the basics we needed: cereal, bagels, yogurt, milk, orange juice, bananas, coffee, bottled water for refills, and a few other small things. We usually skip motels, but this stay changed our minds. We’d come back without looking elsewhere. Thanks to White Sands Motel for giving us such a comforting place during a hard time.
