Super 8 Alamosa

The shower took a while to get warm, which was our one small snag. Otherwise, staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean, and the hotel was quieter than most. A good stay for the price.

AJ at the desk helped me with everything I needed, and his friendliness made the visit even better. The rooms at the Almosa Super 8 Motel were neat and clean, and the place felt comfortable and welcoming. It's affordable too. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, budget-friendly place.

The room was filthy, and I never even got into bed because I was afraid of the dirty sheets. The comforter was stained, and there was female hair under the sheets, so I believed they hadn't been changed after the previous guests. Black mold covered the shower ceiling, and the shower itself looked like it was never cleaned. This used to be a good place to stay when I traveled to the Valley, but new management has run it down. I won't return, and I'd tell others to rent somewhere else. Booking online was difficult. The price shown online was 70.00, but at arrival I was told 105.00. When I got home, my bank statement showed a charge of 120.43. I called to ask why the price differed, and was told 15.00 was tax. Wow. I might not have minded as much if the room had been clean. Also, the person at the front desk barely spoke English and was hard to understand. After I posted this review, the Super 8 called me, likely to ask me to take it down. I blocked the number because I won't be intimidated into removing my honest review.

We arrived a day earlier than planned, and the front desk guy helped change our reservation. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and it was pretty quiet. A good budget stay, much appreciated.
