The owner and staff are top-notch and make you feel like a familiar face every time. It’s the best place around the lake to pick up whatever you need for a day of fishing.

The fishing side of this place is great, but the lodging is absolutely not worth it. For $50+ a night, these are the lowest-budget rooms I’ve ever experienced. Motel 6 would look like a five-star hotel by comparison. The bathroom door looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the walls are paper-thin. You can hear everything happening in the next room. We only stayed because the AC at our house had gone out. I would not recommend these rooms to anyone, not even a dog. Like everything around here, the prices are high and the service quality is low. Just being honest. Go elsewhere for lodging.
