The staff were very friendly, and getting the boat down the ramp was easy. My brother and I drove 11 hours towing our boat and stayed five days. We were happy with the room for the price, and the fishing and weather were perfect all week. We’ve already planned another trip for spring. A very affordable vacation.

It’s dated, but mostly clean and right by Lake Fork. The hot water was a problem. It was room temperature at best, and I had to turn up the heater in the room so I wouldn’t freeze in the shower, without ever turning on the cold tap. This is a great location if you’re here to fish. Menus from local restaurants would’ve helped us know what options we had. Would I come back? Yes, but only if they raise the hot water temperature.

There’s a boat ramp right in front of the motel, plus plenty of parking and outdoor electric outlets for trucks with boats. The large rooms are very clean and everything works well. They have all the necessities for a few days, and even a friendly cat ❤️.

I booked a pet-friendly room because the website said they had them. Then I was told there weren’t any pet-friendly rooms, and they wouldn’t refund my prepaid reservation. They did offer a pet-friendly room, number 7 or 8, upstairs, but I couldn’t safely manage the stairs. It wasn’t suitable for someone elderly or with a disability. I still haven’t received a refund for a room I couldn’t safely use.
